B O M B !!! I'm so sorry I did not take a picture. I had three Al Pastor tacos , Made with flour tortillas cilantro onions and my choice of three different salsas all of which were outstanding and full of flavor and distinctively different. I asked for a scoop of Chile Verde on top of my rice which made it extremely flavorful and the refried beans were heavenly. Quite possibly the best beans I've ever had !
They had a tray of complementary chips that were so fresh and outstanding, I don't think I used a fork because I scooped everything up with those amazing chips.
I will be back over and over again whenever I'm in this area. I eat Mexican food at least once or twice a week. I've been exposed to some of the best mole's and really appreciate fine Mexican cuisine. Although this is to go food, you are going to be pleasantly surprised how fresh and authentic this is. -

Can I just say that I like this store? For being at a location where diversity of foods is almost slim pickings in this RSM neighborhood, I love being here because it had authentic Mexican food, a butcher shop, and groceries, all in one shop, that allows you to escape a bit of that Orange County vibe...even if it's for a quick 15-minute grocery escape. Ha!
Firstly, there's a pretty cool takeout area where you can order freshly made me burritos, tacos, sopas, you name it! Their salsas that they serve are so BOMB! And the ladies who work the grill make a pretty mean crispy taco, that is topped with a bed of lettuce and diced tomatoes and cheese...So YUM!
The grocery store itself has a variety of Mexican ingredients, like canned goods, pastas, rice, grains, drinks, and much, much more. They also have a small, but good variety of veggies and fruits you would not typically find at the regular grocery stores.
The only thing about this place can be the prices. But can't complain there, because it's the only grocery store in that complex. So, they can charge whatever they want. But, it doesn't bother me...I would go back to El Fenix again! -

Great little gem in RSM neighborhood. This is a little Mexican grocery store but I just go there for the Mexican food at the back of the store. Fresh guacamole and ceviche always! Best burrito in South OC. Very authentic!

My experience was consistent with the rest of the negative reviews of this place. Terrible customer service
